Bias Baby Cardigan (FlexPattern #0707) Knitting on the diagonal is so easy and fast, and gives such interest to the front of this little sweater. It's made with Cornucopia yarn, a 100% corn fiber from Kollage Yarns. It uses only 3-4 skeins of yarn and is worked on size 6 or 7 needles.Sizes: To fit 3 (6, 12, 18, 24) months. Note: see the Errata page for a correction to a previous version of the printed pattern (sold prior to November 2007).
See more pictures of the Bias Baby Cardi below. ![]() All you have to do is knit garter stitch, with a brief section of very easy short rows at the top of the front pieces. No edge trim is required because of the neat appearance of garter stitch. And the small buttons can go right through the fabric, so you can forget about having to make buttonholes. (Optional trim and buttonhole instructions are included though, in case you want to do them.) The brown version below is made in Cascade 220 Superwash, and it is the shop model at Threadbear Fiber Arts in Lansing, Michigan. ![]() ![]() |
