Cottage Vest (FlexPattern #0811) -- The lattice stitch pattern on this vest reminded me of cottage windows, so I added seed stitch borders to evoke cobblestone sidewalks, and thus the Cottage Vest was born. A simple diagonal line of twisted stitches running up from the waist lends a bit of femininity to a very simple garment. Knitted in worsted weight yarn. Seven sizes from 32-56" finished chest circumference.
This one is made in Riverstone, a 100% wool yarn from Louet.
This stitch pattern is a lot of fun to work! Basically, it involves stranding the yarn in front for 5 sts, then picking it up when you get a couple rows above the strand. Simple.
